The Gate City Day Nursery Association provides child care for preschool children. The children in Gate City's programs range in age from three months to five years, with the majority of children being 3 to 5 years old.

Gate City offers educational, recreational, and social services. Staff members and teachers are trained in early childhood education, and have had experience with many kinds of social and educational challenges.

Through individualization of educational expereinces offered and the supportive services of a social service staff, Gate City children are afforded the best preschool education Atlanta has to offer.

We recognize parents as the primamry educatiors, nurturers and advocates for their children. It is our pledge to provide the opportunity for our parents to become actively involved in the shared planning and decision-making process affecting their children.

Program Objectives:

To provide a quality, affordable, accessible and comprehensive early childhood program that fosters the child’s cognitive, language, social and emotional, and motor development.

To provide a safe and wholesome environment where children can express themselves, make choices and decisions, and gain an awareness, appreciation, and a love of learning.
